Meghan Markle and Prince Harry MATCH in navy coats for first official royal engagement
The couple, who are due to marry at Windsor Castle in May, will then meet teachers at a nearby school.
Nottingham is important to Harry, and he spent time there meeting young people since 2013, when he was exploring issues around youth violence.
The prince’s communication’s secretary, Jason Knauf, said the prince was looking forward to introducing Ms Markle to a community that had “become very special to him”.
He said Ms Markle could not wait to meet people she had heard so much about.
Meghan wore a dark navy coat for the visit, wrapping up warm against the cold. Prince Harry did the same, complementing his new bride-to-be in a chic navy coat and camel scarf.
She wore her long dark hair in loose, tumbling curls. Her makeup was simple and understated, and she stuck to loose, tumbling waves.
Beaming and smiling throughout, Meghan carried a structured leather handbag by her side. The bag from Strathberry, made from Spanish leather, costs £455.
Covering every inch of skin against the bitter December winds, Meghan wore suede slouchy black boots, which had an unsual triangle heel detail.
Under the coat, a light camel skirt made from thick, ruffled material could be seen poking through.
A black poio neck could be seen under the collar of her coat, implying Meghan is wearing a top and skirt rather than a dress.
Prince Harry kept his attire casual, wearing dark chinos and blue suede shoes.
Pictures from today seem to show Harry’s red hair thinning at the back, leaving some Britons to wonder, is Prince Harry going bald?
One Twitter user wrote: “Prince Harry going bald is a national tragedy first William and now this.”
Thinning hair seems to run in the Royal Family, with Charles and William losing their hair.
It was even claimed Prince Harry could be bald by his wedding, which is scheduled for May.
